DarkSwarm is a top-down tactical shooter for 1-4 players. You are a bioprinted mercenary working for Valstorm, a private military corporation with clients to satisfy and investments to recover.

Deploy solo or squad up online. Recover sensitive data, extract valuable resources, and carry out dangerous operations on worlds overrun by the DarkSwarm.

Whatever happened here, someone still expects a return on their investment.

FACE THE SWARM

Thousands of creatures can flood the battlefield at once. Bring devastating weapons, control the approaches, and cover your teammates when the swarm closes in.

Hold your ground or fight your way through. You are not here to kill everything on the planet. You are here to finish the job.

ADAPT TO EVERY DEPLOYMENT

Procedurally generated levels mean unfamiliar routes, new layouts, and tactical decisions on the move.

Scout ahead, use stealth and hacking to gain an advantage, or blast through parts of the environment to create another way forward. Plan your approach together, and be ready to change it!

FOUR CLASSES. ONE CONTRACT.

Choose between Assault, Engineer, Support, and Infiltrator. Each brings distinct abilities, equipment, and a different approach to getting the job done.

Combine your strengths, coordinate your firepower, and revive teammates when things go wrong. Keep an eye on your firing lanes: friendly fire makes an expensive operation even more expensive!

EXTRACTION IS THE OBJECTIVE

Push into abandoned facilities, secure the objective, and get your haul to extraction. Valuable data and rare materials make these worlds worth returning to. Getting them out is your problem.

Sara, your mission commander, directs operations from orbit. She has a contract to fulfil and a squad to keep alive. Preferably both.

PREPARE FOR THE NEXT CONTRACT

Earn credits by completing missions. Recover fabrication schematics and materials from the field. Develop your operative through progression, weapons, gadgets, and customisation, and assemble a loadout that works for you and your squad.

Contains blood and gore. The game features killing large amounts of alien creatures that will spray the floor with copious amounts of blood and dismembered body parts. (Because that's the way we like it)

Photosensitivity warning: Special vision modes and lighting in the game could use a strobe like effect that can trigger seizures. Use at your own risk.

Profanity: The final game might contain strong language. But currently not.
