Portal: System Failure is an upcoming fan-made mod that expands upon the Portal universe with all-new puzzles and a darker narrative, all to deliver an epic singleplayer campaign. This new, full-length campaign will feature a carefully crafted story with new characters, and a unique soundtrack.

Tentang Permainan Ini

Portal: System Failure is a community made standalone modification for Portal 2, complete with a brand new cast of characters, a new soundtrack, and new puzzles!

Difficulty

Portal: System Failure is primarily targeted at experienced players who have already beaten both base games, with puzzles that can be difficult but fair. The intended experience is to spend upwards of 15-30 minutes on a given puzzle, so that when you finally figure out the solution, you get that rush of a dopamine that makes you feel that much smarter in the end!

Engine

Portal: System Failure runs on Portal 2: Community Edition, using a special branch of the Source engine called 'Strata Source.' This allows us to leverage several new features and improvements to the engine, such as the updated 'clustered' lighting system as well as new gameplay mechanics that can't be offered in Portal 2.
