“Hive Blight is a game that mixes the intricacies of auto-battler and roguelite games. Early Access gives us the opportunity to gather feedback from players, fine-tune balancing, and expand the game based on real player experiences. We want to build the best possible version of the game together with our community rather than behind closed doors.”

“Less than a year.”

“During Early Access, we plan to expand the game’s content (bosses, characters, enemies, mechanics, items, events...).
Our goal is to keep improving and enriching the experience until it feels great and well-balanced. With the support and feedback of the community, we’ll be able to refine existing systems, add fresh ideas, and shape a great game alongside our community.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“Currently, we have:
- 5 Clans
- 50 Unique characters
- 70+ Equipments
- 80+ Trinkets

- 9 Different types of destination on the map
- 3 Chapters, each with their 2 different bosses
- 20+ Different enemies
- 9 Elites (mini bosses)”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“Yes. The price will be lower during Early Access.
We believe players who support the game early and help us improve it with their feedback deserve a lower entry price as a thank you for their involvement. Its thanks to them that we can hope to create an amazing game.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i udviklingsprocessen?

“We often check our game's community on Steam to see what they feel is great and/or frustrating and what directions they would love the game to take.
Our players are also able to give us feedback and ideas through a form or join our Discord server to directly engage with other players as well as with us, the devs. There we are able to discuss balancing, ideas, game feel in order to improve the game together.”

Here is an overview of what is planned for during the Early Access.

Unfortunately, given the nature of Early Access, we can't be transparent about the planned content but there's nothing preventing us from sharing all the things we've already done ever since the game was fist playable on steam! 

I hope it can show our investment in the game and our willingness to finish our project with love!

The kingdom is threatened by the mysterious Fungomancer. Unite the clans and face off against this common enemy. Choose unique insect with their specific abilities, focus on their synergies and place them strategically to overcome the dangers that come your way!

In Hive Blight, you’ll start by choosing an alliance between two clans, shaping your available units, equipment, trinkets, and synergies. Each clan has its own playstyle: the Vespadas excel in offense and debuffs, the Silent Cabbale use poison and ambush tactics, and the Sweet Symphoney rely on healing and seduction.

Combine the clan cleverly, like pairing the Cabbale’s ambush with the Vespadas’ brute force, and you might discover combos even we didn’t predict.

Each clan comes with a panel of unique units with each their specific abilities and stats, it’s up to you to make a choice depending on your playstyle and what you get during your run. Focus on the synergies between their abilities to get the best out of each of them!

The world is full of surprises! Explore its lush environment to find ways to improve your troops! Find or buy equipment, discover sacred altars with long lost powers, drink mysterious potions to boost your unit or visit the forge! There are many ways for you to get stronger, make wise decisions on the road to get there!
